Dr. Thomas Gautsch, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.A.O.S.
An expert in Shoulder and Knee Surgery, Dr. Gautsch is a graduate of the top ranked medical school in the world, The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.
Dr Gautsch is a Fellowship trained, Board Certified, Diplomate of The American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, he is among only a handful of surgeons in the region honored with certificates in both Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine. A researcher and contributor to textbooks of Orthopaedic Surgery, he also spent six years with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the UCLA, in Surgical and Chief Residency. Dr Gautsch has been distiguished as a Fellow of The American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the National Institutes of Health, in addition to election to a number of other professional societies and organizations.
Since founding the Southern Sports Medicine Institute, Dr. Gautsch has performed over 15,000 successful surgical procedures.
